Octave is looking for a Consultor de Desarollo de negócios in Bogotá, Colombia.

La vacante nace para ampliar la capacidad de atención en la región hispana de LATAM. El rol conecta necesidades de clientes con soluciones geoespaciales concretas: entender el problema, proponer la arquitectura adecuada y respaldar al equipo comercial en licitaciones, demos y presentaciones. Se valora la mezcla de criterio técnico, con olfato comercial y trato cercano con el cliente.

Education / Qualifications

Formación

• Título en Ingeniería Catastral y Geodesia, Geografía, Ingeniería Civil, Sistemas o áreas afines.
• Tecnologías/Información Geoespacial o Infraestructura de Datos Espaciales (o equivalentes).

Experiencia

• Diseño e implementación de proyectos con tecnologías geoespaciales.
• Arquitectura de soluciones: software, servicios, interoperabilidad, infraestructura y estándares.
• Seguimiento técnico de proyectos (plazos, calidad, entregables).
• Manejo de datos geográficos: análisis, modelado, gestión y publicación.
• Valorable paso por sector público (procesos de contratación/licitación).

Qué harás

• Escuchar al cliente, depurar el requerimiento y priorizar lo esencial.
• Seleccionar productos y servicios y dimensionar software, horas profesionales y hardware.
• Diseñar la arquitectura y dejarla clara en documentos y presentaciones.
• Preparar propuestas técnicas, responder RFI/RFP y conducir demos.
• Coordinarte con especialistas de otros países para reutilizar soluciones y estandarizar buenas prácticas.
• Revisar a la competencia y traer hallazgos accionables al equipo de producto.
