Responsibilities
In this entry-level position, individuals will design, develop, and debug automated tests for new and existing software applications as directed and under close supervision. This position requires little to no experience in the discipline.
Responsibilities include:
- Write, implement and execute automated tests from regression or manual test plans
- Work with experienced team members to conduct root analysis on defects reported by customers and expand automated test coverage
- Work closely with Functional testers and Development teams to file and prioritize automation backlog items
- Create, analyze, and communicate data on automated test results across different levels of the organization
- Identify, recommend, and implement enhancements to improve testing procedures and increase product quality
- Write efficient code to optimize testing processes
- Utilize strong analytical skills to solve complex problems promptly, adapting to changing priorities
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and effectively communicate with internal stakeholders
- Works under close supervision
- Familiarizes themselves with automated testing frameworks and tools used within the organization
