Job description

• Responsibility for the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB, including related reporting activities.
• Preparation and support of annual statutory financial statements under HGB.
• Support the monthly reporting process and upload of financial data from the local ERP system into the Group reporting environment, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
• Preparation and posting of accruals, provisions, and other period-end accounting entries.
• Support tax reporting activities and collaborate with external tax advisors as required.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency within the finance and accounting function.
• Ensure compliance with Group accounting policies, internal controls, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Participate in finance transformation and business projects, including process improvements, system enhancements, and organizational changes.
• Act as a key contact for auditors and tax advisors, supporting statutory audits and other financial reviews.

Job requirements

• Qualified Bilanzbuchhalter or several years of relevant experience in financial accounting.
• Strong knowledge of HGB and experience preparing statutory financial statements.
• Experience with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Excellent written and spoken German and English.
• Strong communication skills, high attention to detail, and a hands-on approach.
• Ability to work effectively in an international team environment.

Advantageous Experience

• Experience with US GAAP.
• Experience with Group reporting and consolidation processes.
• Experience using OneStream or similar consolidation/reporting systems.
• Experience supporting tax reporting activities.
• Experience working in a listed or multinational organization.
• Exposure to ERP implementations, system migrations, or finance transformation projects.
• Experience supporting acquisitions, integrations, or corporate restructuring projects.

Stellenbeschreibung

• Verantwortung für die Erstellung von Monats-, Quartals- und Jahresabschlüssen nach HGB einschließlich des dazugehörigen Reportings.
• Erstellung und Unterstützung bei Jahresabschlüssen nach HGB.
• Unterstützung des monatlichen Reporting-Prozesses sowie des Uploads von Finanzdaten aus dem lokalen ERP-System in die Konzern-Reporting-Umgebung unter Sicherstellung einer fristgerechten und korrekten Berichterstattung.
• Erstellung und Buchung von Abgrenzungen, Rückstellungen sowie weiteren Abschlussbuchungen.
• Unterstützung bei steuerlichen Reportings sowie Zusammenarbeit mit externen Steuerberatern.
• Identifikation und Umsetzung von Prozessoptimierungen zur Effizienzsteigerung im Finanz- und Rechnungswesen.
• Sicherstellung der Einhaltung konzernweiter Rechnungslegungsrichtlinien, interner Kontrollsysteme und relevanter regulatorischer Anforderungen.
• Mitarbeit an Finance- und Transformationsprojekten, beispielsweise Prozessverbesserungen, Systemoptimierungen oder organisatorischen Veränderungen.
• Ansprechpartner für Wirtschaftsprüfer und Steuerberater sowie Unterstützung bei Jahresabschluss- und Sonderprüfungen.

Muss-Anforderungen

• Erfolgreich abgeschlossene Weiterbildung zum Bilanzbuchhalter oder mehrjährige relevante Berufserfahrung im Finanz- und Rechnungswesen.
• Fundierte Kenntnisse der Rechnungslegung nach HGB.
• Erfahrung in der Durchführung von Monats-, Quartals- und Jahresabschlüssen.
• Erfahrung in einem internationalen Unternehmensumfeld.
• Sehr gute Excel-Kenntnisse.
• Verhandlungssichere Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift.
• Hohe Eigeninitiative, Hands-on-Mentalität und ausgeprägte Teamfähigkeit.
• Strukturierte und sorgfältige Arbeitsweise.

Wünschenswerte Qualifikationen

• Kenntnisse in US GAAP.
• Erfahrung im Konzernreporting oder Konsolidierungsumfeld.
• Erfahrung mit OneStream oder vergleichbaren Reporting- bzw. Konsolidierungssystemen.
• Erfahrung im steuerlichen Reporting.
• Erfahrung in einem international tätigen oder börsennotierten Unternehmen.
• Mitarbeit bei ERP-Einführungen, Systemmigrationen oder Finance-Transformationsprojekten.
• Erfahrung bei Unternehmensintegrationen, Akquisitionen oder Restrukturierungen.
