Responsibilities
Octave is seeking a Product Owner / Business Analyst to support the CIT team. The CIT team manages all mission-critical internal products and platforms, excluding Octave BricsCAD products, that directly drive core business operations, such as our in-house CRM/ERP, sales channels, support systems, Help Center and more. You understand the needs of our company and can propose and develop appropriate solutions, which may include new features, system customizations, or integrations.
- You act as Product Owner for one or more CIT applications, with end-to-end ownership from idea to delivery and adoption.
- You are accountable for maximizing business value delivered by the CIT development team.
- You own, maintain and prioritize the product backlog, translating business needs into clear epics, features and user stories.
- Define acceptance criteria and validate delivered functionality to ensure it meets business expectations.
- You perform detailed analyses of business processes, workflows, and systems to understand the organization’s needs and requirements.
- Serve as the primary liaison between the business stakeholders and the CIT development team, clarifying business requirements, answering domain-specific questions, and validating implementation during development lifecycle meetings.
- Manage the scope of the project, proactively identifying potential scope creep and facilitating the formal change request process to assess impact, priority, and resource implications of new requirements

Education / Qualifications
- Proven experience as Product Owner or a hybrid role in a digital or IT context.
- You have at least 4 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
- Business fluent English, knowledge of Dutch will be an asset.
- You are highly analytical, work in a structured and methodical way, and are detail oriented.
- Comfortable in a highly collaborative international environment with a hands-on and can-do attitude.
- Experience in the CRM/ERP systems is a plus.
