Responsibilities
- Ensure accurate processing of the daily accounting activities including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank postings, and general ledger entries.
- Support the monthly close cycle, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely reporting.
- Prepare VAT and other statutory filings.
- Point of contact for intercompany reconciliations with other group entities.
- Maintain documentation on internal accounting processes
- Prepare audit documentation and respond to inquiries from internal and external auditors.
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, automation, and efficiency.
- Engage in diverse ad-hoc and cross department projects as needed such as system improvements.

Education / Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accountancy or equivalent
- Fluent in English, Dutch is an advantage
- Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience , ideally in an A Y role.
- You have strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with Office 365, Exact Online, Blue10 and OneStream is advantageous
- You have excellent organisational, collaboration and communication skills
- Eager to learn
- Precise, punctual and deadline oriented.
- Understanding of Belgian payroll is a plus
- Experience with BE GAAP and US GAAP or willingness to develop expertise.
- Experience in a public company or SOX environment is an advantage.
