Senior Accountant, Financial Reporting & Consolidations

Responsibilities

•    Perform key activities within the month-end close process to produce and timely consolidate balance sheets and income statement 
•    Prepare and record monthly elimination journal entries
•    Perform global intercompany elimination process and ensure SOX compliance requirements and documentation are met and kept up to date 
•    Monitor global intercompany accounts and work with multi-national finance teams to ensure disposition of intercompany out of balance conditions
•    Prepare and document analytics of certain group and region monthly data and work with regional  finance teams to resolve reporting issues as necessary
•    Participate as a stakeholder in OneStream maintenance, such as changes in accounts, entity reporting hierarchies, consolidation mappings, foreign currency exchange rates, and other activities
•    Provide support to the team for various 10-Q/K and earnings release requirements
•    Assist with and participate in ongoing reporting transformation initiatives
•    Assist with monthly pre-close conference calls with regional teams
•    Complete various PBC for the audit 
•    Prepare various monthly/quarterly rollforwards 

Education / Qualifications

•    Strong knowledge of consolidation accounting and the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
•    Understanding of intercompany accounting, eliminations, foreign currency matters, and multi-entity consolidations
•    Strong understanding of financial statements and U.S. GAAP
•    Knowledge of internal controls and SOX compliance requirements
•    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate and resolve complex accounting and reporting issues
•    Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
•    Experience with consolidation and financial reporting systems; OneStream experience is strongly preferred
•    Strong organizational and project-management skills with excellent attention to detail and accuracy
•    Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced financial close environment.


Work experience requirements: 
Public company, financial reporting and/or SOX experience preferred
Experience working in a multi-entity or global organization strongly preferred
Minimum of seven (5) years of previous experience in consolidation accounting and month-end close.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
