Responsibilities
Octave is seeking a Product Manager - Cloud Platform & Administration. The Cloud Product Manager will own and evolve Octave’s cloud platform strategy and experience, including the Smart Cloud Administration portals. This role is responsible for shaping how cloud environments are provisioned, managed, and standardized across the portfolio to support product scalability, operational efficiency, and compliance.
Working closely with Product, Cloud Operations, and Solution Design leadership this role ensures cloud platform capabilities align with product strategies, enable automation, and reduce environment complexity. The ideal candidate is comfortable prioritizing across multiple global teams and operating at the intersection of product management and cloud operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the Cloud Product Roadmap - Define and manage the roadmap for cloud platforms and administration, ensuring they support portfolio growth, operational scalability, and customer needs.
- Enable Product Strategies Through Platform Capabilities - Partner with Pillar product leaders to understand product roadmaps and ensure cloud services, provisioning models, and environments support those strategies.
- Partner on Cloud Operations & Automation - Work closely with Cloud Operations and Solution Design Management to align on cloud operations strategy, deployment models, and automation opportunities.
- Drive Environment Simplification & Standardization - Lead initiatives to reduce environment sprawl, standardize deployment patterns, and simplify how products consume cloud infrastructure and services.
- Coordinate Delivery Across Global Teams – Work with Solution Design to prioritize and sequence work across multiple development teams, balancing platform investments with near-term operational and product needs.
- Enable Compliance and Enterprise Readiness - Build platform plans that enable products to adopt enterprise and regulatory standards.
- Improve Customer and Operator Experience - Continuously improve usability, transparency, and self-service capabilities within cloud administration portals for both customers and internal operators.
- Communicate Platform Direction and Priorities - Provide clear visibility into platform roadmaps, dependencies, and timelines to Product, Solution Design, and leadership stakeholders.
- Support Customer Engagements - Partner with Sales and Solution Design to support customer discussions, RFIs/RFPs, and questions related to cloud architecture, security, and operations.
- Enablement Material / Support - Work with Marketing and Sales Enablement to develop materials that clearly communicate cloud administration capabilities, deployment models, and compliance readiness.

Education / Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 7+ years of experience in cloud, SaaS, or enterprise software environments, with experience in product management or platform-focused roles.
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms and operations (Azure preferred), including environment management, deployment models, and shared services.
- Experience working with cloud administration, provisioning, security, and operational tooling in multi-product or multi-tenant environments.
- Proven ability to prioritize and coordinate work across multiple, distributed engineering teams.
- Experience partnering with cloud operations, solution design, and product teams to align platform capabilities with product strategies.
- Familiarity with enterprise and regulatory standards such as FedRAMP, SOC 2, ISO 27001, and data residency requirements.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical topics for product, sales, and customer-facing teams.
