Senior Manager, Proposals

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end bid and proposal process for Safety, Infrastructure and Geospatial Division.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Presales, Services and Compliance team to create compelling proposals.
  • Ensure compliance with client requirements, brand, and quality guidelines.
  • Develop storyboards, win themes, and tailored messaging for each opportunity.
  • Coordinate with account owner, Pre-Sales, and pricing teams to deliver high-quality submissions.
  • Track bid progress, maintain pursuit pipeline, and support reporting requirements.
  • Contribute to process improvements, knowledge sharing, and best practice development.
  • Conduct thorough reviews and quality assurance checks to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with proposal guidelines and requirements.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and best practices in proposal management to enhance our proposal effectiveness and win rates continuously.
  • Maintaining and managing various procurement portals i.e. GEM, State/Center/PSU Procurement portals. 

Education / Qualifications

As a Proposals and Bid Lead at our firm, you will be pivotal in driving our business growth through proposal & bid management. You will lead the end-to-end process of preparing winning proposals and bids that align with our firm's strategic objectives and showcase our expertise and capabilities to potential clients.

 

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 12+ years of experience in bid/proposal management.
  • Must have experience in handling and managing government procurement portals i.e. GEM, State/Center/PSU Procurement portals, any other.
  • Strong understanding of Indian business environment and proposal compliance requirements.
  • Proven track record of managing multiple, complex bids under tight deadlines.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Proficiency in MS PowerPoint, Word, and proposal automation tool.
  • Familiarity with Government (State/Center/PSU) RFP processes.
  • APMP Certification will be an added advantage but not mandatory.
