Responsibilities

In this position, individuals are responsible for setup/installation, configuration, and customization of technical solutions, applications, or process designs for the client’s purchased or outsourced technology and business outcome solutions. Individuals in this position are mentored by more experienced colleagues.

• Works directly with clients to manage initial access, map and transfer data, create process documentation (functional requirements/designs/lessons learned), and train or coordinate training for client users.
• Tests and troubleshoots functionality of installed systems.
• Identifies and documents technical issues to be escalated to product and system integration teams for resolution.
• Provides feedback based on client experiences to product and professional services teams for product and process improvements.
• May work directly with clients on-site or provide project support remotely.
• May work on pre-sales activities.
• Accurately document support activities to solve problem, maintaining knowledge base updated. 
• Regularly interacts with solution development, global team support and product ownership teams to investigate problems, discuss design issues, and provide customer feedback.
• Actively seek feedback from clients and internal stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Contribute to the enhancement of our software solution by providing valuable insights from a customer support perspective.  

Education / Qualifications

• You have completed a technical (university) degree (e.g., in geoinformatics, computer science, information technology, or surveying).
• You have gained professional experience in project work in the field of network information systems or geographic information systems
• Experience in the energy industry is also advantageous for this role.
• You possess good IT skills in the area of Microsoft operating systems, especially in the configuration/administration of IIS, Active Directory, Group Policies, as well as in the network field.
• You are proficient in scripting languages like MS PowerShell or Perl.
• Your good knowledge of databases such as Oracle and SQL Server is ideally complemented by programming experience in .Net languages.
• You think in a structured manner and impress with your goal- and success-oriented work style.
• You are able to explain technical content in an understandable way, define learning objectives, and monitor learning progress.
• You have good English and very good German language skills in both written and spoken forms.
• You are willing to undertake occasional business trips.
