Role Overview

The Senior Implementation Consultant plays a key hands‑on role delivering complex Digital Transformation and Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT) programmes for public‑sector and regulated customers across the Nordic region. This is a senior individual contributor position, responsible for end‑to‑end implementation delivery, technical solution quality, and acting as a trusted advisor to customers. The role also contributes technical expertise to public tenders and major opportunities, ensuring solutions are credible, feasible, and ready for delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of enterprise digital and geospatial implementations, ensuring quality, fit, and predictability.
• Act as senior technical advisor and delivery partner to customer stakeholders.
• Own solution configuration, data migration, testing, and go‑live readiness.
• Provide technical leadership and delivery input to public tenders and large opportunities.
• Collaborate with regional and EMEA delivery teams and promote delivery best practices.
• Contribute to continuous improvement through lessons learned, templates, and mentoring.

What you'll be doing

• Plan and execute configuration, customization, and deployment activities aligned with agreed delivery methodologies.
• Lead requirements workshops and translate business processes into solution design and configuration.
• Own data mapping, migration, validation, and reconciliation for geospatial and non‑geospatial data.
• Design and coordinate testing (functional, integration, performance) and support UAT.
• Manage issue triage, root‑cause analysis, risk escalation, and mitigation.
• Produce implementation documentation, runbooks, and handover materials.
• Engage with customer IT, operational teams, and decision‑makers to align scope, priorities, and adoption.
• Explain technical and geospatial concepts in clear business terms.
• Support onboarding, training, and operational readiness.
• Provide technical input to tenders, including solution descriptions, delivery approaches, assumptions, estimates, and risk assessments.
• Validate scope, integration complexity, and delivery feasibility in collaboration with sales and leadership.
• Work closely with international delivery teams and contribute to reusable delivery standards and patterns.

•    Clear and confident communication with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
•    Quality-focused approach: documentation, testing discipline, and reliable delivery execution.
•    Ability to balance hands-on delivery with advisory leadership and stakeholder alignment.

Education / Qualifications

A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree is preferred in one or more of the fields below. Equivalent education combined with relevant experience is also welcome.

•    Geospatial Engineering, Geomatics, GIS, Geodesy, Remote Sensing, Earth Observation.
•    Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Applied Informatics.
•    Data Engineering, Data Science, Analytics (including spatial analytics).
•    Engineering disciplines with strong IT/data component (e.g., infrastructure, environmental, industrial).
•    Post‑graduate courses in Digital Transformation, enterprise platforms, cloud transformation, or geospatial intelligence are a plus.

Certifications (nice to have)

•    Delivery methods: Agile, PRINCE2, ITIL (or equivalent).
•    Cloud platforms: Azure / AWS fundamentals or associate level.
•    Geospatial / GIS platform certifications or formal training.
