Introduction to the Role
Are you a marketing, communications, or business student looking to gain hands-on experience in a global technology company?
Join Octave's Product Marketing team and help transform complex geospatial technology into compelling stories, messaging, and campaigns that customers understand and remember. You'll work on real projects with product marketers and product managers while gaining experience in product positioning, content development, sales enablement, and AI-powered marketing.
What You Will Do
- Support the development of product messaging, positioning documents, and value propositions.
- Create and update customer-facing content, including solution sheets, product brochures, presentations, and sales enablement materials.
- Help execute marketing initiatives for industries such as Government, Transportation, and Defence.
- Support portfolio rebranding projects by reviewing and updating existing marketing collateral.
- Research market trends, customer needs, competitors, and emerging technologies.
- Manage the Geospatial Teams channel and help maintain shared resources and documentation.
- Use AI tools to support content creation, research, and productivity.
Who You Are
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Journalism, Digital Media, or a related field.
- Excellent written English skills with the ability to turn complex ideas into clear and engaging content.
- Curious, proactive, and comfortable taking initiative and ownership.
- Interested in technology, software, and product marketing.
- Familiar with AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, Notebook LM, or similar technologies.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in an international team environment.
Additional Requirements
- This internship is only available to students who are currently enrolled in a degree program where an internship forms part of their curriculum.
- We can only accept applicants who are either citizens of a European Union member state or non-EU nationals who already hold a valid Belgian work and residence permit.
- If selected, candidates must have secured accommodation in Belgium and obtained a Belgian National Register Number before the internship start date.
- Octave does not provide visa or work permit sponsorship for this internship.
- This internship offers a hybrid work environment, combining in-office collaboration with opportunities to work from home. Office presence is expected on a regular basis to support learning, coaching, and teamwork.
