Responsibilities
The Interface Developer will report to the North American Public Safety Regional Development and Integration Team. This group develops, customizes, and implements software interfaces and integrations on a product and project basis.The position requires communicating with a project team, functional team, customers, service managers, project managers and third-party vendors.
Responsibilities may include:
· Participating in project requirement gathering sessions.
· Preparing and maintaining software design documentation.
· Developing product to customer requirements.
· Support testing with customers and third-party vendors.
· Providing second tier support for custom software deliverables.
· Performing project delivery tasks within stated budget and schedule.
· Staying abreast of Public Safety industry standards and specifications related to product development.
· Mentoring new employees as necessary.
Education / Qualifications
· A bachelor’s degree in computer science, MIS or related field or commensurate, documented experience in a role with similar responsibilities
· 7+ years’ experience in software development
· Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
· Good organizational skills and detail-oriented mindset
· Experience in public safety workflows
· Experience in developing Public Safety applications is a plus.
· Working Knowledge of: C#, C++, XML/XSL, JSON, SQL, HTTP/REST, REACT, WCF, GIT, Microsoft Azure DevOps
· Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure Cloud Services is a plus
