Responsibilities
Octave is seeking a Strategy & Enablement Consulting Lead / Pricing Analyst Expert. This role provides the analytical foundation and operational support to improve price realization, reduce leakage, and enable informed pricing decisions across products and regions.
- Build and maintain pricing dashboards and recurring performance reporting: margin analysis, win/loss trends, discounting patterns, and segment-level insights.
- Support price waterfall and gross-to-net visibility; identify and diagnose leakage drivers.
- Create scenario models to evaluate the impact of pricing actions—list price moves, discount policy changes, packaging and metric changes.
- Track competitive pricing dynamics and willingness-to-pay signals from field feedback and deal data.
- Assist with implementation of pricing initiatives through CPQ rules, exception analysis, and field guidance.
- Other ad hoc support to the Pricing, Value, and Monetization Leader

- Quality and timeliness of pricing reporting and decision support
- Measurable improvements in price realization and margin
- Reduced discount variance and improved policy complianceAdoption of pricing tools and processes by commercial teams
Education / Qualifications
- 2–5+ years in pricing, revenue analytics, finance, or business analytics
- Strong Excel/financial modeling; python, experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) preferred
- Ability to synthesize data into clear, actionable recommendations for non-technical stakeholders
