Overview
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Month-End Close & Reporting: Assist in the accurate and timely completion of monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes, including preparing and posting journal entries (including, but not limited to, accruals, amortizations, intercompany transactions). Will also participate in uploading trial balance data from general ledger system to consolidation system, reconcile uploaded data between systems, and complete relevant closing schedules in consolidation system.
- Reconciliations & Analysis: Reconcile balance sheet accounts and review reconciliations performed by peer team members. Analyze financial data for discrepancies and provide, or recommend solutions for, accounting issues.

- Audit & Compliance: Ensure financial records comply with US GAAP, tax laws, and internal controls; support internal and external auditors by preparing schedules and documentation.
- General Ledger Maintenance: Oversee the chart of accounts, journal entry postings.
Job Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Experience: Generally, 4–6+ years of accounting experience, with at least 1–2 years at a senior level.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) and experience with ERP systems like Dynamics Great Plains.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of GAAP.
