Responsibilities
Design, develop, document, test, and debug new and existing software systems and/or applications for market sale or large-scale proprietary software for internal use. Participate in full development life cycle including requirements analysis and design. Write technical specifications based on conceptual design and stated business requirements. Support, maintain, and document software functionality. Identify and evaluate new technologies for implementation. Analyze code to find causes of errors and revise programs as needed. Participate in software design meetings and analyze user needs to determine technical requirements. Consult with end user to prototype, refine, test, and debug programs to meet needs.
Assignments require the use of independent judgment and the application of programming/software principles, theories and concepts. Works under minimal supervision with wide latitude for independent judgment.
Education / Qualifications
- Working towards a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Understanding of data structures and algorithms, OOD and OOP is required.
- Experience working with Web Application development, Microservices and MicroFrontEnds architecture, Cloud deployment and writing WebAPIs is a plus.
- Experience or exposure to mobile application development, math applied to graphic development, and/or database applications is highly valuable.
- Familiarity with different AI foundation models is desirable.
