Responsibilities

Octave is looking for a UI/UX Designer to join the team. We’re building something new—literally from the ground up. As our UX/UI Designer, you’ll help shape the digital front door of a new company brand we are launching. This is a unique opportunity to design the experience architecture, visual system, and customer journeys for a new enterprise-level web ecosystem built for scale. You’ll work at the intersection of brand, content, and technology—translating strategic direction and user insight into an experience that reflects a modern, software-driven business. You’ll collaborate closely with our agency partners on the initial core site build while establishing the design standards, component patterns, and scalable frameworks that will guide an multi-year roadmap of global expansion, product storytelling, and marketing activation.

  • Design and deliver intuitive, user-centered digital experiences for marketing websites.
  • Create and evolve design systems that ensure consistency across global sites, campaigns, and digital experiences.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including developers, content strategists, and marketers—to translate concepts into responsive, accessible web experiences.
  • Design scalable templates and components compatible with Contentful and other digital platforms.
  • Develop conversion-focused landing pages and campaign experiences that align with paid media objectives.
  • Apply UX best practices to simplify user journeys and improve engagement and conversion.
  • Contribute to usability testing, design QA, and performance reviews to ensure high-quality output.
  • Support localization and globalization efforts by designing flexible, multi-language interfaces and layouts.
  • Maintain strong alignment with brand guidelines while pushing for innovation in interaction and visual design.

Education / Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Digital Media, or related field.
  • 7–10+ years of UX/UI design experience within digital marketing, SaaS, or software-driven environments.
  • Proficiency in Figma and experience managing or contributing to design systems or component libraries.
  • Hands-on experience designing for Contentful and/or other headless or traditional CMS platforms.
  • Strong understanding of responsive design, accessibility (WCAG), and user-centered design principles.
  • Proven success designing paid media and landing page experiences optimized for conversion and performance.
  • Comfort working within global and multilingual design frameworks, ensuring scalability and localization readiness.
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to communicate effectively with developers, marketers, and stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented, data-informed, and comfortable iterating based on user insights and performance analytics.
