Responsibilities
Octave is seeking a Project Manager to lead large-scale software implementations within our Public Safety division. This individual would be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the project implementation, customer relationship, and Reference ability.
· Serve as primary Hexagon representative to customer partners
· Effectively managing projects to deliver on time, on cost and according to client quality expectations
· Development of project plans, including scope, budget, deliverables, schedule and project team responsibilities in order to accomplish project objectives
· Coordinating work and providing instructions, advice, leadership and guidance to a diverse group of team members
· Reviewing work in progress and assessing completed work for accuracy, required results and desired quality
· Ensuring timely and accurate communication between project team members, management and customers
· Facilitating the resolution of issues and escalations
· Participation in project scoping activities, including producing and/or validating LOEs and SOWs
· Preparing customer-facing and internal status and financial reporting
Education / Qualifications
· A bachelor's degree, or commensurate, documented experience in a role with similar responsibilities
· PMI PMP or equivalent certification is preferred
· Minimum 5 years project management experience implementing large software implementations
· Prior experience with managing complex technical projects and programs – preferably in Public Safety
· Strong written and oral communication and critical thinking skills
· Intermediate to senior level knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, including Microsoft Project proficiency
· A self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented mindset
