Responsibilities
In this position, individuals are required to have exceptional technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to make architectural design decisions and technology recommendations to meet business requirements. Individuals in this role are recognized as subject matter experts, driving major enhancements and providing architectural leadership across Octave solutions within the organization.
- Recognized as a highly skilled specialist in at least one Octave solution and possess expert-level knowledge in multiple Octave solutions, driving integration automaton and optimization.
- Design and execute advanced automated and manual test scenarios aligned with software architecture
- Analyze and communicate detailed data on automated test results across various organizational levels, including executive management
- Recommend and implement changes and enhancements to improve product quality, procedures, and software functionality.
- May design, develop, and debug automated testing frameworks for software applications.
- Apply independent judgment and automation/software principles to complete assignments and resolve complex issues.
- Apply specific expertise in software design and development approaches, influencing engineering processes and recommending new technologies.
- Rely on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish strategic goals effectively
- Work independently with a high degree of initiative, driving complex automation resolutions and architectural solutions.
- Utilize strong interpersonal skills to provide feedback, discuss design issues, investigate problems, and develop automation and quality solutions to meet technological needs with stakeholders, solution development teams, and product owners.
- Accurately document activities, processes, and test outcomes to support comprehensive reporting and analysis.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of peers, guiding automation efforts and ensuring successful product delivery.
- Strong understanding of enterprise systems and application architecture Manage multiple tasks and maintain efficiency while switching between tasks.
- Drive changes and improvements in testing automation and solutions as a key stakeholder
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Efficient with latest advancements in automation technology. May lead adoption of new automation testing tools or frameworks within the organization.
