Octave is seeking a new Account Manager.

 

As our Account Manager for Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) / Asset Performance Management (APM) Sales, you will be responsible for identifying, qualifying and pursuing opportunities to a successful close in France.

 

You will have strong experience of selling to and working with EAM/APM target industries to enable you to position the Octave Attune product portfolio. You will identify and work with targeted accounts to create, progress and win new opportunities. You will be capable of developing executive‑level relationships and driving sales through opportunity planning, executive involvement and value selling.

 

If you are an experienced, successful hunting sales professional with a background in selling SaaS EAM / APM propositions—comfortable challenging and guiding prospects through consultative, value‑based selling, and passionate about industry knowledge and problem‑solving—you should read on.

 

This is an ideal opportunity to join the Southern Europe Attune team during a period of growth and acceleration.

Responsibilities

 

You will...
• Lead Octave Attune SaaS solution sales to the assigned industries and territory, aligning business development and sales activities with strategy to achieve the annual sales target.
• Prepare, own, and maintain your territory plan and manage the end‑to‑end sales process, working with demand generation, pre‑sales, professional services, and value engineering teams.
• Ensure complete CRM hygiene including accurate forecasting, quoting, business approvals, and reporting.
• Create and maintain strategic relationships with business partners, prospects, and internal stakeholders by building a strong network and collaborating with Sales leadership and global teams. Be accountable for connecting the right people in your prospects to the right people within Octave and our partners at the right time.
• Be a strategic, agile, and visionary salesperson who is comfortable delivering high‑value presentations to senior executives (CxO) as well as business, engineering, and technical stakeholders.
• Work closely with your partners and our professional services team to ensure successful implementation and customer satisfaction.

 

You will have…
• Proven experience selling software solutions in the Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) and Asset Performance Management (APM) space, and experience in customer acquisition.
• A hunting mindset—searching for new business and developing new relationships is part of your DNA.
• Knowledge of cloud solutions and business applications to enable credible engagement with prospects.
• The ability to analyse complex business and industry challenges addressable through EAM/APM and articulate quantifiable benefits using the prospect’s language and context.
• Awareness of sales methodologies such as Challenger, SCOTSMAN, MEDIC/MEDDPIC.
• Confidence and ability to interface professionally with a wide spectrum of prospects including C‑level executives.
• Ability to work with multiple prospects of all sizes, particularly medium to large organisations.
• Natural strengths in relationship‑building, negotiation, and objection handling to drive success.
• Native French proficiency and outstanding verbal and written English.
