Responsibilities
For this position, the primary focus is on Enterprise Asset Management in which the role of the Attune EAM solution is key. However, Octave houses multiple solutions for different aspects of asset lifecycle, and it is expected that the successful candidate will develop an interest and basic knowledge in other Octave solutions relevant in relation to maintenance.
Individuals in this position are technical experts who support the sales process by demonstrating Octave solutions to meet customer needs and desired business outcomes. In this position, individuals are independent and begin mentoring other colleagues.
- Proactively support Attune EAM license and services revenue generation by taking ownership of pre-sales engagements
- Work closely with sales representative and act as team player
- Demonstrate leadership during discovery sessions by first understanding prospects' strategic objectives, the business opportunity, and the resulting solution needs.
- Captures technical and work process requirements and translates them into a demonstratable workflow using Octave technologies.
- Actively and regularly meets with and demonstrates Octave Attune EAM to prospects and clients.
- Diligent in maintaining a working, demonstration environment suitable for performing solution demonstrations and leveraging Octave technical resources as needed.
- Develop and maintain meaningful customer presentations to fit various market opportunities.
- Contributes to the technical content of proposals (RFI, RFP)
- Ability to articulate Octave integration capabilities between Attune EAM and other applications in Octave portfolio and 3rd parties solutions.
- Provides technical support for marketing activities and events.
- Participates in the Go-to-Market ideation and development process.
- Keeps a close relationship with the product center and strategic teams to maintain expertise and early knowledge of new functionality, as well as providing industry feedback.
- Travel within France & EMIA is required (between 40 to 70% of the time).
Education / Qualifications
- Outstanding verbal and writing, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills in French (native) and English are essential. Additional language skills are considered as plus.
- Ability to understand and communicate with all levels (including C level) in an organization
- Min. 5 years’ experience working with competitor/partner/Octave solutions in the EAM/APM/AIP space in a similar role or at an equivalent time with consulting firms.
- Good understanding and knowledge of enterprise applications (EAM, CMMS or ERP, SCM, Warehouse Management)
- Familiarity with CAD/BIM/GIS and Integration experiences are considered as a plus
- Knowledge of programming languages (SQL, JavaScript, Python) is a plus
- Engineering/Computer science/Business degree (BA/BS) or equivalent qualification/experience is required.
