Senior Manager, Sales

Responsibilities

  • Identifies and Builds Sales funnel, expand opportunities for named accounts and develop new accounts for ALI solution profile of the company
  • Maintaining C level relationships with customers & prospects
  • Obtains software and services orders by planning and organizing daily work schedule
  • Position is a software and services sales position
  • Prospecting and closing new accounts
  • Understand the Product Portfolio and create sales plans for growth in your region
  • Create and Submit Techno commercial proposal in coordination with the India Presales team
  • Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses as requested
  • Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, etc.
  • Recommends changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments
  • Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports and making recommendations to management
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies
  • Maintaining records on area and customer sales via organizations CRM tools
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  • Travel more than 75 % of the time

Education / Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s in engineering degree is preferred
  • Minimum of 12+ years sales experience
  • Minimum of 10+ years of Enterprise Software sales experience is preferred
  • Demonstrated skills in customer service, closing, territory management, prospecting, negotiation and product Knowledge
  • Experience meeting sales goals
  • Must display self-confidence and a motivation for sales
  • Demonstrated aptitude for problem solving
  • Ability to determine solutions for customers (consultative sales approach)
  • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills especially Presentation Skills
  • Demonstrated experience with managing client relationships
  • Must be results-orientated and able to work both independently and within a team environment
  • Proficiency in Salesforce or other CRM solution softwares
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite applications and contact management software
