Responsibilities

We are seeking to hire an Account Director. The selected candidate could reside in Korea

  • Develop and maintain Octave market share in the region by generating additional sales leads with new and existing clients for software and service solutions along with other any products as required by management.
  • Understanding and evaluating the external business environment and customer demands to identify and secure profitable business opportunities in previously untapped markets. These markets include segments such as Refining, Petrochemical, Chemical, Power etc. process industries as well as alternate Manufacturing industries.
  • Update and Maintain the Go Sell database in line with our selling practices, policies and procedures. Including, Account plans, activities to ensure accurate representation of Customer engagement. 
  • Acting as the main interface with the client to ensure optimal service level is provided and all the client’s requirements are met at all times.
  • Understanding the customer’s business, objectives, decision making processes, buying criteria and forming long term business partnerships in order to leverage revenue from the relationship.
  • Develop and maintain a network of industry associations and contacts.
  • Work closely with new clients to determine their future needs and proposing suitable products, services and upgrades in order to maintain and grow revenue streams.
  • Develop and update on a regular basis accounts plans that will assist Marketing with planning and scheduling program and campaigns.
  • Maintain contact with assigned clients and ensure their continued satisfaction with Octave software and services.
  • Conducting solution presentations and coordinating demonstrations with pre-sales team members, and coordinating the preparation of Sales proposals, tenders/bids, contracts and Account Management plans.
  • Coordinating, conducting and participating in Sales promotions campaigns, events and displays.
  • Identifying potential partners or clients, performing competitive research, evaluating proposed deals/partnerships and analyzing and developing business cases for new business targets.

 

*This is a 1-year contract position with the possibility of conversion to permanent employment depending on performance and business needs.

Education / Qualifications

Qualifications

  • At least 10 years of software sales or consulting experience for a large enterprise software organization, sales experience within the specified markets will be highly favorable.
  • Reasonable knowledge of the process industry practices and requirements within the target markets.
  • Proven sales ability including negotiation skills, persuasive ability and a proven history of meeting sales targets.
  • Strong working knowledge and understanding of Hexagon products with particular reference to technical solutions in the target markets.
  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant field.
  • Technical background in the process industry will be highly valuable. 

 

Requirements 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to use well developed communication and social skills to persuade and influence the views of potential clients.
  • Ability to tailor presentations to suit individual clients’ needs and deliver those customised presentations in an engaging and persuasive manner.
  • Proven sales ability including outstanding negotiation skills and persuasive ability.
  • Ability to deal with clients at all levels, identify client needs and translate those needs into complete solutions of Hexagon products and services.
  • A strong knowledge base of fundamental management, accounting and reporting skills.
  • Business level of English ability is required.
