Overview

Octave is hiring a Software Consultant (Technical Support Engineer) to support Octave Attune EAM customers across Korea and APAC.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot complex EAM application, database, interface, and system issues
  • Work with development/product teams and keep customers updated
  • Translate maintenance/operations problems into technical solutions
  • Maintain documentation, knowledge base, and support processes
  • Use AI tools to improve troubleshooting and documentation

Required Skills

  • Strong SQL skills and relational database knowledge
  • Experience with Oracle and/or SQL Server
  • Understanding of application servers such as JBoss/Apache
  • Knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs, SSO, XML/JSON
  • Confidence using AI tools in daily work
  • Fluent Korean and professional English

Preferred Experience

  • EAM/CMMS experience such as HxGN/Infor EAM, Maximo, or SAP PM
  • Background in manufacturing, heavy industry, power, petrochemical, utilities, etc.
  • Knowledge of maintenance, reliability, MRO inventory, and asset management
  • Skills in Python, GIS, cloud/SaaS, log analytics, or CRM are a plus

Ideal Candidate

  • Self-starter with strong learning mindset
  • 2+ years in technical support or related industry experience
  • Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or related field
  • Engineering background is highly preferred

 

*This is a 1-year contract position with the possibility of conversion to permanent employment depending on performance and business needs.
