Responsibilities
- Support end-to-end payroll operations across multiple EMEA countries, working closely with external payroll providers, local HR teams, Finance, and employees.
- Prepare, validate, and submit payroll input data, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to payroll deadlines, with strong use of Excel-based tools and data validation techniques.
- Review payroll calculations, reports, statutory deductions, retroactive adjustments, and off-cycle payments before final payroll approval.
- Execute payroll-related payments, including salary transfers, statutory payments, and third-party remittances, in line with established controls and procedures.
- Perform payroll reconciliations, controls, and variance analysis to ensure payroll accuracy and compliance, leveraging Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Act as a key point of contact for payroll-related queries from employees, HR teams, Finance, and payroll vendors.
- Support payroll audits, compliance reviews, and internal control activities by preparing documentation and responding to information requests.
- Participate in payroll transitions, process improvement initiatives, and automation projects (including Excel automation, macros, and workflow optimization) across the EMEA region.
- Maintain payroll procedures, process documentation, and operational controls, with a focus on continuous improvement and automation of repetitive tasks.

Education / Qualifications
- 4–7 years of payroll experience, preferably within a multi-country EMEA environment.
- Experience working with outsourced payroll providers and coordinating payroll activities across multiple stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of payroll processing, statutory compliance, reconciliations, controls, and payroll payments.
- Advanced Excel skills (e.g., PivotTables, XLOOKUP, Power Query preferred) and experience using Excel for payroll analysis and reporting.
- Experience supporting audit activities and compliance reviews would be an advantage.
- Exposure to payroll automation tools or process automation (e.g., macros, RPA, workflow tools) would be a strong asset.
- Professional proficiency in both English and Polish is required.
- Knowledge of an additional European language (German, Dutch, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, or Czech) at a minimum B2 level would be considered a strong asset.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
