Job Overview
At Octave, our public safety solutions help protect 1 in 7 people across the globe. Right now, the industry is moving through a once-in-a-generation shift to cloud-based technology, and we're leading the way.
As the Support Software Developer, you'll help customers navigate that transition while building, supporting, and improving software that powers critical public safety operations. You'll solve complex technical challenges, deliver practical solutions, and help keep essential systems running when communities need them most.
This role suits someone who enjoys digging into problems, takes ownership, and genuinely wants to help. You'll balance project work, support requests, and occasional urgent incidents, all while working closely with a team that values fresh ideas, collaboration, and continuous improvement. The selected candidate needs to be based in Wellington.
Quality matters here. You'll bring a disciplined engineering mindset and build quality into every stage of development, from design through deployment and support.
