Responsibilities

In this position, individuals coordinate all aspects of a product or service offering project for a client, from inception to installation. Installations may involve acceptance of enterprise software systems, system integration, or consulting projects or engagements. 
 Primary focus of the PM is to manage projects to successful conclusion with high customer satisfaction within the project constraints of budget, time, and resources.  This full-time position provides a clear career path for talented and high-performing individuals.

  • Typically oversees scope, schedules, and budgets to ensure stakeholder goal attainment.
  • Executes projects in alignment with Hexagon Smart Services Methodology and project management methodologies.
  • Identify project objectives, drive and communicate decision to meet stakeholder’s expectations.
  • Define project roles and responsibilities.
  • Manage stakeholders and change to put plans in place for successful project implementation.
  • Promote customer relationship.
  • Organize and ensure proper communication.
  • Planning and control.
  • Provide project reporting and support project administration.
  • Create actual cost vs. budget vs. earned value based financial reports and analysis.
  • Maintain risk and issue Logs. Escalate key issues as required so they are appropriately addressed.
  • Translate issues into action items and work plan activities.
  • Proactively manage escalations through to resolution.
  • Work as a crucial component of a project team responsible for identifying areas of improvement and enhancing existing systems or developing new systems.
  • Maintain lessons learned databases/lists and apply lessons learned from recent projects.
  • Identify further opportunities for cost savings as extensions of existing tasks/ projects or new tasks/ projects.

Education / Qualifications

  • Native level Japanese fluency & Business level English
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in project management role
  • Excellent written and verbal communication 

 

Nice to have (Not Required)

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is a differentiator
  • A Scrum Master (CSM) certification would be an advantage
